As a professional skier I usually feel the lure of snow and mountains drawing me away from the rivers. It's not like fishing isn't on my mind nearly the entire time, it's just a difficult proposition to shed a day of skiing away from a short Winter for something I get to enjoy all Spring, Summer and Fall. That being said, given the opportunity to drop a fly, I'll hit it in a heartbeat. I just so happened to have one of those opportunities this past week and man was it a refresher.
